Description

Reagents and material
The Gram Stain control slides are prepared from standard quality control organisms.
Our Gram Stain Control slides have two wells containing a Gram positive control organisms (Staph. aureus) and a Gram negative control organism (E.coli) which have been made non-viable.
Space is provided on the slides for writing data.
Materials are supplied ready to use.

The Acid Fast Control Slides simulate a clinical sputum smear with appropriate background material.

They have been prepared for use for staining with Ziehl-Neelsen, Kinyoun or fluorescent techniques. Acid fast control slides are intended for the control of stains used for routine staining of sputum and body fluids forMycobacterium tuberculosis. It is solely intended for in vitro diagnostic analysis.

It is solely intended for in vitro diagnostic analysis. Slides have two wells containing a positive control Mycobacteria tuberculosis strain H37ra 25618 and a negative control of E.coli. The distribution of the background material has been made to simulate a patient’s specimen.
50 slides (according to the reference) are provided.
Materials are supplied ready to use.
Stability and storage

  • All components should be stored at room temperature (15-30°C).
  • The products are stable until the expiration date stated on the label.
